ZIGGY

Ziggy came into rescue with Suki. He's a beautiful red brushcoat and just as sweet as he can be.  He's approximately 2 years old, neutered, and current on vaccinations. Ziggy had heartworms, just like Suki, but they have been treated and they are gone.

Ziggy is good with other dogs, loves kids and is very interested in cats. He hates a crate! He is very playful and loves stuffed toys.

UPDATE 4/18/05: Ziggy has a new home with Steve and Katie. We are in the process of working out transportation to get him to Wisconsin. One more volunteer and we're there! Way to go, Ziggy.

UPDATE 4/23/05: Yea for Ziggy. Ziggy is in cold, cold Wisconsin with Steve and Katie. It was a long trip to get there, but it was worth it. Ziggy is still checking things out, but he's settling in quite nicely.

4/6/09: Hi Cindy,
Ziggy and Jade are doing ok. Ziggy is just getting older now and likes to sleep alot. But he has become my cuddle bug on the couch and when we go to bed. Jade is the total opposite. She is young and has plenty of energy and is my walking buddy when the weather is nice out. She even gets Ziggy to play every morning even though he is plenty tired afterwards.
Oh. Great News! Steve and I are expecting our first baby and are due in June. We are really excited. I know that it will be an adjustment for them but I think they will be great. They like to go in the babies room and smell everything.
Well, take care
Katie Gregory

Still a beautiful boy!

6/9/09: Hey Cindy,
How are you? It has been awhile! Hope things are going ok for you. Well we had our baby. 3 weeks early! Ziggy and Jade absolutely love him! Jade brought out the mommy in her and doesn't want to leave his sight. She even runs to him when he cries. Ziggy is adjusting very well also, he just gives him lots of sniffs with his tail wagging! Things are going great! Take care. Katie Gregory

Ziggy and his new baby brother!!

3/24/2010: We learned today that Ziggy lost the fight with renal failure. He died today. Ziggy was a great family dog for Stephen and Katie. They will miss him terribly. And Jade will surely mourn his death. RIP, Zig Man.
