VITO
Now we know this is a face only a mother can love! Vito is a cream dilute horsecoat with pricked ears - and I mean really pricked. Sometimes they lay down close to his head, but most of the time they are standing forward. He is funny looking! Vito came to us a bag of bones. He wouldn't eat for several days and, the first weekend, I thought he wasn't going to make it. We gave him some fluids and that apparently jump started his appetite because he's been a chow hound ever since. Because he was nearly starved, he is food aggressive. He is still thin and needs to gain a few more pounds. Vito has just had entropion surgery - that's why his eyes look a little funny in these pictures. They are healing nicely. Vito is neutered, on heartworm prevention and current on his vaccinations.. Vito is very friendly and plays hard. He (and you) would be well served with some obedience training. He loves to run and play, so a fenced yard is essential. He's not very good with other dogs. Vito deserves a second chance at the good life. Please find it in your heart to give that to him. 9/30/07: Vito is very intelligent, maybe too smart for his own good. He needs obedience training to learn how to chill instead of being so excitable.
3/12/08: We are taking Vito off the web site because he continues to nip at folks. He's not mean at all, but his nipping hurts so we think it best not to adopt him out. He'll live out his life here with us - nipping away when he wants attention! |
