6/1/08: Little Ruby left today for her new home in Smyrna TN. She'll have a new brother named Bailey and her new mom and dad are Paulette and Scott. We really hated to see her go because she's such a special little puppy. We had really grown to love her. We understand Ruby will probably be getting a new name. We can't wait to hear what it is.

6/10/08: Little Miss Ruby has a new name - it's Mia. Isn't that a pretty name for such a pretty girl. Scott has nicknamed her Jaws because she chews on EVERYTHING. I can't imagine that sweet little girl doing that, can you? Ha!

9/15/08: Mia is a typical energetic, playful, lovable pest! She’s doing great. The surgery slowed her down for about a day, and then she was back in full swing. When she got home from surgery, Bailey was so sweet to her. He brought a toy over to her to try to get her to play. When he saw she wasn’t up to it, he dropped the toy at her feet and lay down with her. Now they are back to fun and games.

1/22/09: Ruby is all grown up now. She will be a year old on March 29. Isn't she a pretty girl?
