KARMA

This is Karma! Karma came into rescue after her owners moved off and left her to fend for herself. Poor girl! A caring neighbor located our rescue and we made arrangements to pick her up. She has a very good temperament and gets along well with other dogs. She is good with kids also. She is completely housebroken.

Karma is heartworm free and in excellent health. The vet thinks she is about 1.5 - 2 years old. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and will be spayed as soon as she finishes this heat cycle (around February 1).

Karma is an apricot dilute horsecoat with a lavendar tongue.

When Karma finds a forever home, she will respond with more love than you can imagine.

2/23/02: Well, we found it!  Just the right home for Karma.  She went to a wonderful home in the Memphis area today.  And she'll never be left outside alone again or have to wonder where her next meal will come from.  Word is that she found the toy box and greeted her new mom with a bed full of toys at 6:00 a.m. Congratulations to Karma, Betty and Gene!!!

6/9/09: Cindy, I was sitting here watching Karma and thought of you. I have had Karma for 6 years now and she has transformed. As you know, my brother got an English Bulldog puppy that he has also wanted. She is approximately 6 months old now.

Karma has bonded with her as I have not seen her bond with anyone else. Karma has gone from the quiet, laid-back dog, to playing the day away. She always is patient and nurturing with Maggie. They play tag, they love on each other, they wrestle. It is truly amazing. Very rarely does Karma show signs of frustration or being tired when she is around her. If she is, she very gentle, but firmly telling her it is time to stop playing. She is like the adopted mother for little Maggie and Karma is truly happier and livelier than I have ever seen her. She missed her calling to be a mommy, but is getting to enjoy the chance with Maggie. It is a wonderful site to see. Betty Fortney
