NOEL 7/3/08: This cute little girl is making her new home with Celia and Talia, Cookie, Cyril, Sniffles and Taz. Celia and Talia are very active in our group - fostering, transporting and just being great friends. She has a new name. Well, not exactly new, just expanded. Her new first name is Fiona. Celia decided that when saying Noel, because the first syllable is NO, Fiona Noel was getting mixed signals. Good thinking, Celia.
Fiona Noel and her new sister, Cookie
Cyril is thinking "exactly what part of my anatomy is she looking at???"
Fiona
Noel, the angel?? NOT!
10/19/08: Fiona Noel participated
in the 2008 Parade of Rescues at Nationals in Ft. Mitchell KY.
She also had an entry on the Wall of Rescues. Here's what her
family said about her on that wall:
Fiona Noel, if she were a human
child, would be somewhere between a spoiled Southern princess
and tree climbing tom-boy. At the tender age of 12 weeks, she
was whipping a grown pit bull, Cyril Bob, and literally dragging
him around by his ears. She was so rough; he left the play room
and went to bed. How can anything so cute, fluffy and wrinkly,
be such a rough neck? No one knows, but she’s loved just
the same.
Fiona came thru Shar pei Rescue of Decherd
Tennessee, operated by Cindy and Galon Sherrill. Fiona is the
offspring of Joy, one of the pei that was rescued from a disbanded
puppy mill. “Fee”, and her mom, and all of her siblings
have been happily adopted.
She resides on the outskirts of Atlanta,
Ga. and considers herself to be very metropolitan.
Fiona Noel - you grew up!! 8/2/09

GRACIE 7/2/08: Gracie has a new home with sisters, Sushi and Lauren, and new mom, Caryn. She left yesterday and today we learned that Sushi is having some adjustments problems, but hopefully she'll settle down in a day or so. Gracie is in a great place where she will get lots of love and attention and where she'll be able to enjoy the good life.

7/20/08: Gracie is settling in
very nicely in her new home and she's doing very well with her
two new sisters. Isn't she a beautiful little puppy?

ZHEN 7/2/08: Zhen and Rudy have a new home together in Gastonia NC . Their new brother, Hannible, is a therapy dog and both these guys will be trained when they're old enough. Isn't that cool? Thanks, Chong and Art, for taking these boys together. I know they have a great home.
7/3/08: Good morning Cindy! Thank
you so much for the pictures. They had a great ride home,
and got here safely last night. The meeting with our older
Peis went well, although I don't know if Hannible quite knows
what to make of the two puppies. This morning, they
woke up and I got morning kisses, and then they fell back asleep
on me. Rudy and Zhen both love the backyard, especially
the monkey grass. Rudy is very adventurous and Zhen has
turned out to be very protective. They have been exploring
everything. Thank you very much for your love and work. Our
boys were well taken care of by you. Thank you again.
Chong
10/23/08: They
are so wonderful, bigger then I expected them to be. eat like
teenagers, acting like big boys, still my baby boys.
We call Zhen by the nickname mellon head
because his head is so big when he walks it rolls from side
by side. Rudy is so smart
he looks into your face, he knew what he done; then he covers
his pow on his face and smiles. They
are joy of our life. Chong
2/23/09: Zhen and Rudy are almost all
grown up now. Aren't they beautiful? Unfortunately their adopted
brother, Hannible, passed away on the 16th. He died in his sleep.
Zhen, Rudy, Art and Chong are very sad and miss him very much.
Zhen,
Rudy, Hannible
3/6/2010: Hi, Cindy. How are you? We are the melon head(ZEN)&Rudy"s mom&dad!!!!!!!!!!!! They are very happy and get in so much trouble. You never believe they did such things.Such as Rudy love green plant and out door .When winter time we brought in our jade tree to inside ,he took his nap top of my jade tree(6years old tree). He looks us with little beady eyes said hey I need to sleep . Melon head : only Pei can play, make noise dragged the toy from outside to inside( top of our bed) with dirt and leaf saying your bed is my bed. by the way he has own toy basket; no one one dare to mess with his toy. RUDY & ZEN BOTH HAD EYE TACKED. It went very well, zen was so pitiful we have to baby him, he took antibiotic with grumble. however our smart boy Rudy was different story. He does not like antibiotic; he spit out the pill and does not like ham to this day .He can remember the taste of pill, he smell any meat we give him. They can see whole wide world. They are the joy of our life. Very very good boys. We will send new picture to you soon. Once again thank you very much you gave us such joy. Chong&Art

Woody
10/23/08: This beautiful baby boy is still with us and is likely to stay with us. He's had one bout of Shar Pei Fever. Cindy
Woody
3/1/09: Woody had knee surgery
on 2/20/08 to repair a luxating patella. He's recovering, but
it's slow. Doc said he had the hardest bone he had ever worked
with. I guess that's why it is so sore and taking a while for
him to feel better. Poor guy!

Isn't he a handsome boy!! We love him sooooo much!!
