BO

(HUGH)

4/15/08: Hugh is a beautiful sable Pei who was picked up as a stray. He waited and waited for his owners to get him from the animal control, but they never came. Hugh is a very good boy and does not understand what has happened to him.

Hugh is crate trained and house trained. He walks well on a leash and is learning some basic commands. Hugh loves to play with other dogs. Hugh has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm negative and on preventive, is neutered and has had his vaccinations. He is ready for his new home.

Hugh will make a great pet for his forever family.

   What a handsome boy!

11/1/08: We placed Hugh in a home a couple months ago, but it didn't work out for him. Hugh needs a big fenced yard to run and play in and he didn't have that there. He had to be crated most of the time and he nearly went stir crazy. Since being returned to his foster home, he has exhibited none of the behaviors that we were told he had in his adoptive home.

This boy not only likes to be in his crate, he likes to be on top of it, too!!

11/20/08: Hugh is visiting us for three weeks while his foster mom and dad are in California. He is showing no symptoms of any separation anxiety or any other bad behaviors that the previous home reported. He sleeps in his crate without a peep, he hasn't lifted his leg even once and he loves playing outside with our dogs. Hugh is a wonderful dog and will make a loyal pet for some lucky family.

11/28/08: Hugh has a home!! And it's a good one, too. It was love at first sight, I think, for Mike and for Hugh. Hugh was kissing him all over in a matter of minutes. Way to go, Hugh!!

Let's go, dad!

12/7/08: Hugh has a new name. He's Bo now and everybody likes Bo better.
