11/1/09: This little guy was dumped at our house today. He is an absolute sweetheart and so well behaved. Teddy is a lap dog and is perfectly happy to sit with you all day if you'll let him. We think Teddy is a terrier of some sort; he has a bobbed tail and long legs.
We placed Teddy in a home at the end of November, but the lady's grandson was severely allergic so he had to come back. Teddy is a great little dog. He's crate trained, house trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. He weighs about 25 lbs.

4/2/2010: Teddy is on his way to his new home in New Hampshire to live with Lynn, Stephen and Britt Doughty. He will get there tomorrow.
4/3/2010: Well, Teddy has met his new family and here's what Lynn has to say about him: Teddy is sound asleep on the couch. He is the best little guy. He did so good today after his long trip. He LOVES belly rubs. I think he spent a good part of his day with all 4 legs up in the air getting pampered with the belly rubs. He is awesome and very loved already. I will definitely post pictures in the next few days. And I will share Teddy stories for sure!! Thank you again for making it possible for us have him in our lives. Lynn
4/3/2010: Hi Cindy. About an hour ago Teddy decided that he would like my spot on the couch so he started to get on my lap (which was already occupied with the laptop...oh no) so when I went to put it on the table, he snuck behind me, crawled up onto the pillow (he is very attached to the fleece pillow case already), and fell as...leep. You told me he liked to go to bed early so I figured he'd get up after a few minutes and want to go in his crate on his bed and call it a night. About 10 minutes ago he woke up, jumped down, walked around the table, looked in his crate and jumped back on the couch. He's sound asleep again. I know you're probably thinking "well just pick him up and move him". I just can't bring myself to disturb him and I don't want him to wake up and be alone so I'm on the recliner now. He keeps stretching out and then snuggling into the pillow and blanket. He is way too cute. Lynn
6/27/2010: Theodore is doing great and he's absolutely spoiled rotten! Bri writes the funniest stories about him that I laugh out loud when I read them. This is the perfect home for Teddy.
12/29/2010: Hi Cindy,
I had a great Christmas. We went to NH last Thursday night. We planned
on staying this week too but Steve's boss said he had to take back his
vacation approval because they needed him. errrr How was your Christmas.
I hope it was awesome. I know you have young Grandchildren so it's so
magical at that age!!!
Teddy is the most amazing pooch in the entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is BEYOND spoiled. LOL Seriously that dog is the funniest most lovable
dog in the world. I talk to my Mom on the phone every day and she says
"do you realize you tell me Teddy stories everyday as if he was
a kid". I said HE IS!!!!!!!!!!! He's my baby boy. She thinks we're
crazy. BUT she got a little attached to Theodore over the holidays.
Teddy LOVES the gas fireplace and the couch!! We have his crate at her
house for when we go there because she doesn't allow him to be running
free without adult supervision. And she asked if he could go in there
for bed. lol So on Thursday night everyone was upstairs in bed. I was
sleeping on the couch so he'd have someone with him. His crate was in
the living room. So at 2:00 a.m I woke up and stayed up until 3:00.
I let him out for a snack and drink and when I told him ok let's go
back in he crate he jumped on the couch instead. So I said ok I'l let
you stay here for a few minutes. Well we both fell asleep. He was snuggled
under the covers with me. At 7:00 I hear the shower and I said oh no
we've been here 4 hours. lol So I rushed to get him back in the crate
so Nana wouldn't catch him. She says to me the next day "oh I came
down at 4:00 and the kitchen light was on, TV was on so I turned everything
off". She never noticed Ted was with me and not in his crate. OMG
I burst out laughing and told her the story. So after that he just slept
on the couch with me each night. I woke up one day and he was literally
nose to nose. And he snores!!
He LOVED Christmas. He was helping to open his gifts and then we see
him lifting up the box of bones with both paws. He drags everything,
blankets included off the chair, gets the bones on the floor, sticks
his head in the box and helps himself to another. He has enough variety
of bones and treats to last 6 months. Everyone got him gifts!!!
Me and Britt both got heated mattress pads back in November. Guess who
enjoys them just as much?? YUP Teddy absolutely adores them and enjoys
his sleep wih us!!!! The crate stays in NH for visits and we have to
fight for a spot in our bed with him.
I'm sorry I haven't written lately. I think about you all of the time!!
Love,
Lynn

Can you say spoiled???
