Pooh Bear

 

6/19/09: Hi there! I am Pooh! I am a very sweet and gentle 4 year old male who needs a good permanent home! My foster family was nice enough to get me out of the pound and has given me an awesome place to stay for now. They got me bathed my very first day (said I was pretty dirty) and I have a new crate and pillow and toys to play with also. I get along well with other dogs, since I was with 3 or 4 at the pound. I am also gentle with children since they are so close to my size. I am not too sure of loud noises right now - I am still a little scared, but I think that will change when I am in my forever home and things become a little more natural for me. If you would like any more info on me - just email Cindy and she will get you anything you need!

I'll be getting my eyes fixed in a week or so and then I'll feel so much better. I guess the people who had me before didn't know how painful they are or maybe they didn't care.

I've had all my vaccinations and I will be neutered on 7/2/09. I'm really a very nice boy that needs a family who will love me and give me a safe place to live

2/6/2010: I believe it was love at first sight - both for Debbie and for Pooh. Pooh was very excited to meet his new family. I believe he knows this is his last stop - one where he will be happy spending his days with Debbie, who is home most of the time. Way to go, Pooh Bear!

 

2/7/2010: Pooh Bear did really well on the ride home. We stopped a few times to let him walk around a while. H was a little nervous,  but that's expected.

He did eat all his food and drink his water and so far he is doing really well in the house, and getting a long with everyone. We are very pleased with him. Thanks for every thing.  Debbie

 

2/22/2010: Hello Cindy, A Little up date on Pooh Bear. He is doing great! He is now playing with his toys and sleeping in his bed; he was sad for a while missing all his friends. He loves everyone and a new fence is getting put up; we have been working on it for 2 days now. He will now have a yard to play in this summer. I will be sure to send you photos soon, and  I am calling the vet to make Pooh Bear his first appt with us. We love Pooh Bear so much. Thank you, Cindy. Debbie

 

3/9/2010:Hello Cindy, I want to up date you on Pooh Bear's visti to the animal clinic. He did really great on his visti. H is a good boy. We love him so much.

The vet did a exam and and checked his ears and they said he was in very good health; everything look great. We got to come home with a goodie bag.

For pooh he got medication to keep pooh's ears clean, and we got pooh bear shampol and conditioner, and interceptor, and he as also started on frontline.

His next appt is july 2, 2010. Pooh Bear now has his big fenced in yard; he loves it. I will be taking photos soon and will be sending them to you.
