Edgar

7/24/08:    This beautiful boy was an owner turn in because he couldn't keep him any longer due to his disability. Edgar (his name before he came here) is a fawn brushcoat. He will be three years old on 11/21/08.Edgar has had some medical issues, but is clearly on the mend. He has two very good foster moms providing excellent care for him, so he is thriving. He's a very good patient when he has to see the doctor.

Edgar loves going for walks and running in the water at the lake as long as he doesn’t fall in and get completely wet.  He loves playing fetch with a rope toy, but doesn't like a ball for some reason.  He also chews on your hands and arms when he wants you to play.   He's very well behaved, and really sweet and loves playing with other dogs.

3/6/2010: Edgar is one very lucky boy. His foster mom is now his adoptive mom. Thanks, Patricia, for giving this boy his forever home. We really appreciate all you've done for him.

5/25/2011: Cindy,
Edgar passed away yesterday of renal failure. He had a fever Tuesday of last week and started throwing up. He had been at the vet clinic since Wednesday receiving fluids and medication to stop the vomiting. He started feeling better even though his BUN continued to rise since last week. The vet allowed him to come home on Monday night since he was drinking on his own and was feeling better. He died suddenly the next day even though he seemed to be feeling better. He was a good dog and we loved him. Patricia

RIP, sweet Edgar.
