Venus

10/15/09: Venus is the only female from the litter of puppies that Buddha presented us with last July. As you can see, she isn't a Shar Pei, but nonetheless, we want her to have her very own home where she will be happy. Venus is spayed, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. She lives with many other animals on the farm with her foster mom, but there is one small dog that she doesn't get along with. Otherwise she's fine with other animals.

11/1/09: from Venus' foster mom - Venus is doing well. She is playing well with my two girls. She still really hates the crate but other than that she is great. Her house training is going good. She follows me around everywhere. I took her to work for a little while on Thursday. She is getting better with people but she is still shy. Lauren

Back to adopton pageWe require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Venus is $100, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email or "snail" mail.
