Mr. Lee

11/5/09: This guy is alive by the hair of his chinny chin chin. You see, he was scheduled to be euthanized on Saturday. Thankfully, he was passed over and we got him out on Monday. Mr. Lee is an older fella, probably 6 or 7, but he's in good health except for being deaf. He's been neutered, vaccinated and is on heartworm preventive. He spent a couple days at the vet where he got a nice bath, nails trimmed and his dirty ears cleaned.

We are still evaluating Mr. Lee and can't report just yet whether he gets along with other dogs, but we do know that he's great with people. Loves everybody. He's laid back and is content sleeping next to his person.

Check back for updates!

1/4/10: This fella is doing very well since getting out the shelter. He's good with other dogs and loves people. He would love to have a home to call his own where he could take every day as it comes without worry about being hungry or cold. Can you give Mr. Lee that home?

1/29/2010: Mr. Lee is experiencing some sort of skin condition that is probably related to his immune system. Several biopsies have been taken but we don't have the results yet. This doesn't take away from his sweet personaltiy and it certainly doesn't mean he doesn't deserve his own home. We feel sure that special person will come along soon.

We require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Mr. Lee is $150, which helps to offset the cost of his medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email.
