Gidget

12/11/2011: Little Gidget is a sweet playful girl. She learns very quickly and wants to please. She has learned to sit before she goes into her crate to get her treat. Gidget is also learning to walk better on a leash and to shake hands. She wants to play all the time. She likes to “pet” you and put her paw on you, so you will pet her more. The techs at the vet fell in love with her.

When we got Gidget out of the Animal Control, she was very hesitant with us, but by the next day she was learning we weren't going to hurt her. Now, she never sees a stranger and wags her tail when someone new comes up to her. She has gained about 6 pounds and looks so cute with her new wrinkles. Gidget loves to play with them.

Gidget is crate trained, up to date on her shots, spayed, microchipped and on heatworm preventive. Gidget is a beautiful horsecoat and is about two years old. Unfortunaely, she is food aggressive so she will need to go to a home without children and one with adults who will correct her so this behavior doesn't escalate.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful, loving little dog, Gidget is your girl.

Back to adopton pageWe require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Gidget is $250, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email.
