Charlie Brown

8/2/09: Charlie Brown is a handsome boy! He is a Shar-Pei lab mix. He is around 18 months old and a very funny boy. He loves to play fetch, run in the back yard and play with the other dogs. He would be great for someone who wants a running companion, but is just as happy to be a couch potato. He thinks he is a lap dog.

Charlie is house trained and crate trained. He is a good traveler and enjoys going places.

Charlie got off to a very shaky start in life. He was left to die in an unused airplane at Charlie Brown Airport in Atlanta. He had a severe case of Demodex, but as you can see, he has a beautiful coat today and shows no ill effects from it. Since he was also deprived of food, Charlie is food aggressive with other animals so we think he needs to go to an only dog home. This is very common in rescue dogs that have been starved. They don't forget being hungry.

Charlie is so sweet and needs his own forever home. Please think about Charlie if you are going to adopt a dog. He will give you lots of love and affection.

We require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Charlie Brown is $150, which helps to offset the cost of his medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email or "snail" mail.
