Buddy - Adoption Pending

4/30/2010: Buddy is a very sweet Shar-Pei/Mastiff mix.  He was an owner surrender.  His family had lost their home, were living in a hotel and could not keep Buddy there. He is about 1 1/2 years old and still a puppy at heart He loves to play and has learned to play ball.  He knows basic commands, but would do well with an obedience classHe is learning that it is not OK to jump all over everyone. Buddy is crate trained, house trained and is learning to walk on a leash.  He responds very well to praise and catches on quickly.  He is also use to children and gets along with other dogs.

Buddy would like a good size fenced yard to play in.  He loves to chase his shadow at night.  He races it from one end of the yard to the other.  He is such a happy boy. Buddy is current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventive, neutered and microchipped.

If you want a fun energetic dog, please give Buddy the chance to prove he is the dog for you.

Back to adopton pageWe require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Buddy is $150, which helps to offset the cost of his medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email or "snail" mail.
