| Have you ever seen a more beautiful shar pei? Willie Wonka is a gorgeous chocolate horsecoat. His coat is like velvet. He has a wonderful temperament and gets along with everybody and other dogs. He is currently being treated for heartworms and that is going well. Willie has already been neutered and has had his eyes fixed. He will be available for adoption around the end of September. But I can tell you he will be well worth waiting for.
UPDATE 9/25/04: Willie went to his new home with Eric and Shay yesterday. He was a little afraid, but we're sure he will be very comfortable in a few days. Thank you, Eric and Shay, for giving Willie Wonka a safe, loving home. You will receive much love in return.
UPDATE 5/4/06: I stopped by to see Willie the other day and I can't tell you how beautiful he is. He's come a long way toward getting over his shyness, but he's still fairly guarded with new folks. Shay sent this picture of them and Willie in the mountains on vacation. Willie Wonka is in a good place.

Hey Cindy,
It is Shay, Eric, and Willie! We wanted to let you
know that we are sorry we did not attend the reunion
and maybe we will be able to next year. i just
wanted to send some pictures of our Willie so you can
see how good he is doing. Even after having Willie
for three years he is still timid around people he
doesn't know, but he really enjoys traveling and
riding in the car to visit friends and family. We are
so thankful that we found such a loving dog like
Willie Wonka! Enjoy!
