| Meet Tasha! What a beautiful girl!! Tasha is a white horsecoat spayed female. She hasn't been to the vet yet, but she will be going soon. She has a skin problem right now, but we are working on that with a good diet and medicated baths. We've only had her a few days and she already looks better. Tasha is an owner surrender and will soon be 8 years old. She is very well behaved and knows some basic commands. UPDATE 7/19/02: Tasha is heartworm negative and had entropion surgery since coming into rescue. The wonderful news is that she is scheduled to go to her new home on Monday, July 29! This excited family can't wait to have her be a part of their lives UPDATE 7/30/02: Tasha has been adopted by a wonderful couple from Indiana. She will have someone at home with her all day now and that will make her very happy. Thank you, Jean and Randy! And thank you, Tasha, for being such a wonderful girl. Ginger and I miss you a lot!!! UPDATE 1/6/04: Tasha passed away of toxic shock syndrome in September. Jean and Randy are devastated. Apparently she was very stressed out about having to go to the vet for her vaccinations. She had a reaction and the result was more than her system could handle. Tasha was very happy living with Jean and Randy and we know they miss her terribly. Since then, Jean and Randy have adopted another little girl from our rescue. Her name is Hyacinth. Even though she's very different from Tasha, they love her very much.
