Meet Shelby! Shelby is a red brushcoat mini. She's 3-4 years old and is spayed, current on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

Shelby was turned into the shelter because her owner couldn't take care of her. Her coat/skin were in pretty bad shape at first, but she's getting better each day.

Shelby is very playful and gets along with other dogs. She will probably need entropion surgery before being placed for adoption.

UPDATE 11/4/04: Shelby left today for her new home in North Carolina. We know she will be very  happy and safe with Vicki. We're sure she will also be very spoiled.

UPDATE 3/21/05: Snuggles (aka Shelby) and Vicky are doing great. They even served as foster mom and sister for Billie Jo for about a month. Snuggles is in a great place - she's very lucky to have Vicky for her mom.

UPDATE 5/4/06: Ms Snuggles is doing wonderful.  She had her first trip to the dog park about a week ago.  We had taken a long walk before I took her to dog park, per the Dog Whisperer,  and she did wonderful when we got there.  However, after about 20 minutes, she was ready to go..that was enough exercise for her.
