Look at this sweet boy! .

Smoot is a fawn neutered male brushcoat. He is house trained and crate trained. He is very well behaved and sweet. He loves kids and gets along with other dogs. He loves to play, but he will chase cats if they run from him.

Smoot doesn't particularly like going to the vet. We found that out when he went in to have the stitches removed following his entropion surgery. He must have had a bad experience prior to coming into rescue.

Smoot is current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.

10/2/05: Smootie went to his new home in North Carolina today. I think it was love at first sight for Tricia and Charlie, but not so much for Jackson, their little sheltie. Word from NC today is that Smoot is making himself at home and is having a great time chasing balls in the back yard.

Smoot Shaking - isn't he cute?

This boy just gets more handsome with every picture.

2/14/07: Today is a very sad day. Smootie got very sick a few days ago. Today his family learned that he has a pancreatic tumor. Smootie passed this afternoon about 5:00.

3/12/07: It's good to see Smootie's page from time to time.  It really gives him a place to be a star.  I really loved that little guy.  He was so good to me.  Sort of a junkyard frog that became a prince; if even in my eyes only.  He was so grateful.  I'm so glad we had him for as long as we did.  I guess they are all different and we love them all the same; like kids I would suppose.  Funny how we can miss the ones that are gone.  I know you must want to keep them all. Charlie
