ROSE

This is Rose with her new family. This will be an excellent home for Rose - kids and other family pets. She will love it! Thanks to the Redferrins for taking Rose into their family, and good going, Rose!!!

A story from Rose's mom 6/30/04: We went to Florida for a week and I boarded Rose and her closest dog companion. It broke my heart to leave her. She is so funny. Now that we are home she won't let us out of her sight! I think if we travel in the fall I WILL GET SOMEONE TO STAY AT OUR HOUSE WITH HER. SHE IS SUCH A BABY. I rolled over last night half awake expecting to see my husband's face and there she was on the pillow between him and me with head on pillow positioned like a human, body under the cover, sleeping peacefully. What a sight.

Unconditional love or what?

It's a tough life!

1/4/07: Rose is wonderful. I think of you every day because of her. SHE HAS SUCH A ROUTINE.Out each morning by seven. Back in by seven thirty. Hits the couch for two to three hours, nibbles a bit, out again.....play, nap again. Dinner, t.v. time and then.....she beats me to bed where she snuggles next to my legs and snores until the next morning! What a mess!!!!!My bestfriend!

11/6/08: ROSE IS SLEEPING BY THE COMPUTER. I LOVE HER. SHE SLEEPS WITH US EVERY NIGHT, IS WITH US ALWAYS, AND IS SUCH A GOOD GIRL. THANKS FOR PUTTING HER IN OUR LIVES. I UNDERSTAND FULLY WHAT YOU DO. I ALSO KNOW THERE ARE TIMES WHEN YOU THINK YOU CAN'T DO IT ANY MORE...BUT PLEASE DO. MY "RED WRINKLED ROSE" IS MY COMFORT, MY BABY, AND I ADORE HER AS DOES THE WHOLE FAMILY.
