Quincy was turned loose by his owner and when he was picked up by Animal Control, the owner was contacted and he didn't want Quincy back. And he's such a sweet boy, too.

Quincy is neutered, on heartworm prevention, current on vaccinations and is microchippped. He is good with other dogs and likes kids. Quincy is three years old.

Quincy is very, very thin but that's probably because he was left to fend for himself for so long. That problem will be fixed quickly - he'll get plenty to eat here. The little wound on his head probably happened at the shelter, but it is healing nicely.

UPDATE 10/11/04: Finally, the perfect family came along for Quincy!  We are so happy that Butch and Janell found room in their hearts and their home for Quincy. They left Tennessee headed for Pennsylvania with Quincy and their other pei, Mei Lei, lounging on their beds ready for the long ride home. Thank you, Janell and Butch. We know you will give Quincy a safe, loving home. Keep warm, Q!
