Little Max was turned into the shelter because his owner was elderly and couldn't keep up with him. You see, Max is a baby - only 8 months old.

Max is a fawn brushcoat and is in excellent health. He's been neutered, had entropion and is on heartworm prevention and his vaccinations are current.

We just picked Max up today (2/4/05), so we can't write much about his personality yet; but we do know that he's a friendly little guy and loves kids.

Max and his Shih Tzu friends

Max is safe and sound in his new home in Hermitage. It was love at first sight for Becca. Javier was working and met Max a little later. He, too, was smitten with Max. Becca's grandmother, who is the proud owner of two little Shih Tzu girls, was also quite taken with him. This boy will be spoiled rotten!
Thanks Becca and Javier for giving Max a great home. He deserves it!

10/2/06: Max is still doing great and he has a new baby brother named Brandon. He loves him very much.
