Jade is a very sweet little 16 week old puppy that somehow found her way into a shelter. She's a black brushcoat (very short brushcoat). Jade is current on her vaccinations and will be spayed as soon as she's old enough. She's itching a little bit, so she got a medicated bath tonight. She hated it! Her coat is a little sparce but we'll get her into good shape very quickly.

Jade likes all our dogs and she loves to play. I'm sure she'll be excited to see our 3 year old granddaughter tomorrow when she comes to visit. Jade likes stuffed toys and nylabones.

3/10/07: Sweet little Jade is in her new home in Greenville IL. I think it was love at first sight for Mandi and I know it was for Jade. We checked on her today (3/11/07) and Mandi says Jade has made herself right at home. She's not sure if she's actually seen the kitty yet, but the kitty sure knows that Jade is there. Thanks, Mandi, for giving Jade a wonderful forever home.

3/15/06: Here are some pictures of our baby! I actually have a friend named Jade so we decided to rename her Maci. The picture of her and my husband was taken the night she came home. They had known each other less than an hour and fell in love!! She is doing absolutely wonder!

We have had only a few accidents in the house. We have taken Maci on about 3 walks around neighborhood and she is doing much better (her first walk she was a little confused and didn't know what to do).

Yesterday, we took her over to my parents house to meet their black lab Sadie. Sadie wasn't too sure about her, but they warmed up to each other quickly and were running and playing around the entire yard!

Maci and the cat are seeing more and more of each other every day. I believe they will eventually warm up to each other.

Things are going great Cindy! I appreciate all you help in finding us our perfect addition to our home! I'll send more pictures in the future! Thanks again!

   Just wanted to update you on Maci. She is doing wonderful! She hasn't had an accident in the house in over a week. Yesterday she went to the vet and had her spay done. She did wonderful. Last night after the surgery, she was really tired, but today she is back to herself. Hope everything is going well with you and your family.

     Just thought I would update you on Maci and send some pictures. She is doing wonderful!! I just took her to the vet a couple weeks ago and she is up to 36 lbs; she's such a big girl!!! Last week she graduated from obedience school; she's so smart!!! She and the cat meet several times each day. Maci justs sniffs the cat and the cat hisses at Maci! I am not sure if the cat will ever like her. A few weeks ago we took Maci out to Carlyle lake. It was like 90 degrees and I was afraid she was going to get too hot, but believe it or not she got right in the water! She loved it!!! We also just recently finished a privacy fence in our back yard. Maci loves running freely throughout the back yard. As you can tell things are great. I hope everything is going well with you and your family.
