Jack and Jill  Jack and Jill

Look at these cute babies! Mushka surprised us with 5 puppies a few weeks after we took her into rescue. Obviously none of them are purebred, but they sure are cute. If you think you might be interested in adopting one of these peibies, please contact us. These babies were born on 8/2/06.

Jack is the bigger of the two and even though they both have a ton of excess skin, he has the most. Both take a little while to warm up. We would love to place them together because they are so close (as you can tell from the pictures), but we will separate them if we have to.

Both puppies are house trained (they use the pet door), all vaccinated and on heartworm preventive.

2/23/07: Yea for Jack!! He's in his new home in Greenville SC with Charlie, Tricia and Jackson, his new brother.

Jackson, the Sheltie, was waiting in the truck. Jack (who may be renamed Duke) isn't too sure about all this. Later, though, he decided that this new place was going to be all right!

Handsome boy, huh?

These guys are already best buds!!

3/11/07: Hi, Cindy, I'm typing with a smile and a chuckle dispite the livingroom carpet being shredded.  Duke is slowly progressing with his shyness.  That's good.  He's definitely still a pup though.  We left him out with a pile of toys and he decided the carpet was a better toy.  He tore put about a 5' section.  I guess he thinks it is a big stuffed animal.  You were right about him chewing the stuffing out of them, he has made short work of most all of Jackson 's soft toys.

They all seem to have a taste for something other than their things.  I swear our first Pei was part woodchuck or beaver.  He ate every chair and table leg he could find.

Funny thing with Duke was that his harness was off and still buckled, laying in the floor where he chewed up the carpet.  ???

We have a big crate, so we will have to introduce him to it until he grows up some.  He's so cute, you can't really be mad at him.   We have been wanting wood floors in the livingroom and hall anyway! Charlie

Duke and Furman - aren't they cute?
