HEIDI

Heidi is a very brave little girl. When she was picked up from the Fulton County Humane Society, she was literally skin and bones. Bringing her into rescue, we all thought she had given up hope. But after a few days, she came out of her shell and along with an increasing appetite, developed a charming, loving, and sensitive personality.
Heidi loves to be around people and other dogs. She has a touch of arthritis, which is being treated with meds, but you would never guess by the way she plays and romps with her doggie friends and foster family.
Heidi does a lot of mental work. She takes awhile to decide if she wants to go out, if she wants a snack, and which bowl she wants to eat out of. This behavior is quite humorous, but is also a part of her everyday routine. She is sensitive and if not allowed to think things through, will stand there wagging her tail, in cute helicopter-like circles, trying to figure out what is wrong with you. The key is to not rush her. This is also a bright dog. When the alarm goes off, she knows it's time for the day to begin and when she's finished outside, she scratches on the door.
Her sense of humor is broad and she displays a funny little grin from ear to ear when amused. Enjoying her nap time and snoozing on the rug, sleeping is her first formidable hobby. Her other favorite pastimes are watching television, chewing on a Denta-bone or stuffed animal, and giving little kisses that tickle your nose.
This is a wonderful dog that has so much love and character. She will make a truly loving addition to your family.
Heidi would love to have a family that would be devoted to her and give her a forever home.
Are you that family or individual?
