GRACE

URGENT - September 3, 2005 - Grace is running out of time and she needs a special home. Is there anyone available for her?

Grace was born March 1998 and was turned into us as an owner surrender. She is a blue Shar-Pei with a very sweet disposition. She loves attention and she gets along very well with other dogs.

Grace is very healthy overall. However, she does leak urine at night when she sleeps. Because of this, she must have a fenced yard and a pet door so she can get outside when she needs to, which is often. She is such a wonderful, sweet and loving girl that she deserves a second chance. The clock is ticking and we are praying that someone will find it in their hearts to make a space for Grace.

As with all our dogs, Grace is spayed, fully vaccinated, on heartworm and flea preventative and is microchipped.

10/10/05: What a wonderful home little Grace has landed herself in! Bob, Brenda and Rachel just couldn't be happier with Grace and the feeling is mutual. They also adopted Blue, so he's a pretty lucky guy, too!

UPDATE 11/20/05: Everything's going real well. Sorry we haven't sent more pics, (they're in the camera, but not downloaded yet) but I've been trying to get the fence finished up in my spare time. It's almost completely done. The pups are really attached to Brenda, and they both stick to her like glue when they are outside. They act like they really like Rachel and me, but they are devoted to Brenda. Blue has put on more weight, and Grace has not had any fever since the first couple of days. Grace finally adopted one of the pillow beds as her day bed, and Blue still flops wherever he gets tired. Both of them are getting used to the normal noises that the house and its residents make throughout the day and night, and no longer growl and bark at the ice machine when it's doing it's job. All in all, they appear to be very happy, as are we. We are glad that both of them are now part of our family. Thanks again.
