Look at this sweet face! She was eating her supper and has yogurt all over her mouth. Peaches is a creme dilute female that was picked up as a stray in east Tennessee. She needs to put on some weight very badly. She has a wonderful disposition and gets along with other dogs. She is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventive and microchipped.

We just got peaches on 9/2/06, so we don't know everything about her yet. We'll post more soon.
We require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Peaches is $200, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

9/18/06: We knew this little girl wouldn't be with us long. Carlene and Terry fell in love with Freckles (formerly Peaches) and wanted her to be a part of their family. Their children, Amanda, Amber, and Austin, love this little girl as much as Carlene and Terry do. Freckles is one lucky girl to have this very special family.

Everything is going great! She is so good! She is good in the tub, good at night, good at going out, She is a great dog! When Austin cries at night she goes to check on him before I can! She has a vet check up on Tuesday, the girls are mad 'cause they'll be at school and can't go with us. Her scar from being altered is kinda puffy, and I've found a few flees on her so we're getting some med. for that. I used one of the coupons you gave me for the dog food, and she loves it! But it doesn't love her, it gives her so much gas! It's so funny, She burps and poots more than anybody else in the house!
