DIAMOND

10/23/07: This pretty girl was seized by an animal control officer in Chattanooga TN. She is a fawn brushcoat with a beautiful black mask. She is a real hoot! She loves to play, loves other dogs and we're pretty sure she's good with cats. We're going to test her again, though, to be sure.

Diamond is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm preventive. She is crate trained and house trained.

So, she about as close to perfect as you can get. She's a great little girl.

12/01/07: Little Diamond had an episode of Shar Pei Fever today. As far as we know this is her first one. So, she's on the medication that she needs to be. If you're not familiar with this condition, there's a lot of information on the internet about it. One of the best sources is Dr. Jeff Vidt's web site: http://www.drjwv.com/index.php

12/13/07: This pretty girl is in her new home in Gatlinburg. She and Lynda hit it off immediately. Lynda can't believe how affectionate Diamond is, but she loves her being that way. Thanks, Lynda, for giving Diamond a second chance!

1/14/08: We are settling into a real family.  I can't believe anyone would give Diamond up.  She is incredible.  Every day she becomes increasingly obedient and loving.  I am sure you are sick of hearing about Pearl - the rescue from Barb.  But you have given the same thought, consideration and care in rescue.  Diamond has profited from your care and placement.
When we go to the doctor, I will try to get out pictures made together.
She is exceptional.  Every dog deserves a chance, but like people, some are simply great!

We require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Diamond is $225, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email.
