Meet Connie! Connie is a very sweet little girl,
and a very friendly little girl. At first she was a little afraid
of people, but not any more. Her personality is really shining
through.
Connie is about 4 years old and has a very good
temperament. She's an excellent patient when she goes to the doctor.
Connie is a red/fawn brushcoat with a black mask. She also has
black eyebrows - something I've never seen before. Kinda looks
like Groucho Marx! Connie is a mini shar pei. She's very short
and stocky.
Connie doesn't particularly like being by herself.
She's much happier when she's with another dog or person.

Connie is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm
negative and on prevention and is microchipped.

Connie is looking for a new home where she will
be loved and cared for. Are you that family?

Larry, Sophie (aka Connie), Mona
and Li (in black)
3/19/06: Sophie went to her new
home yesterday in Adams TN. A cute story about Sophie - yesterday
at church Larry told the preacher that they were adopting a little
Chinese girl. Later the preacher said to Mona, "I didn't
know y'all were adopting a Chinese baby girl." Mona laughed
and told him it was a Chinese baby girl DOG. Larry's a real hoot.
Sophie will share her home with Li. Mona and Larry have adopted
3 times from us. First was Bubba (aka Andy). Bubba passed away
several months back. Then they adopted Li and now Sophie.
UPDATE 5/6/08: Sophie is finally
getting acclimated to us and her new environment. She'll
let Larry take her out now, but still won't come to him when he
calls. She aggravates the snot out of Li all the time!!
He'll take it for awhile, then chase her out of the room.
They have a major “play time” in the morning after breakfast that's
funny to watch. I try to keep them apart because it worries
me with so much activity after eating that one of them will have
a problem like Bubba had. They are best buddies!!

9/12/09: Li passed away a few
months back and it took Sophie a while to adjust. She has a new
brother now. His name is Cato .She's trying her best to teach
the young whipper snapper the house rules!
Isn't she a pretty girl? |
