| BUSTER

Buster loves everybody! He is a fawn brushcoat male and is about 6 years old. His sight is very limited because the entropion surgery that he so desperately needed wasn't done until we got him into rescue. However, he adapts to new environments very quickly. Buster is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm preventive.
Buster gets around very well despite his limited sight and he's great with other dogs and he loves people. He is house trained, but he doesn't like to be crated. Buster, in spite of his age, loves to play. He puts his butt up in the air when he's ready! On the other hand, he's just as happy to be in a more quiet, laidback environment.
Buster was apparently dumped by his previous owners and found his way to a good samaritan who contacted us. He needs another good samaritan to give him the home he so desperately deserves.
Can you find it in your heart to bring Buster into your life? He deserves 'the good life' after having such a hard life up to now.
12/2/06: I can't tell you how happy I am that Traci wanted to give Buster a home! Because Buster is an older guy and doesn't see very well, I thought it would be hard to find him a forever home. But Traci is Buster's guardian angel, for sure. It doesn't matter to her that he's older, doesn't see well and isn't very pretty. She loves him anyway! And so do Buck, Maddie and Izzy - her other peibies. Before Traci adopted Buck, he and Buster roomed together in the kennel. I'm sure they actually remembered each other today when they were re-united. Way to go, Buster!!! And thank you, Traci.

Is he really going home with us, Mom?
OK, then, I'll have my picture made with him.

9/15/09: Sad news came today. We learned that
Buster passed away 2 months ago. He was almost 10 years old. He
had a great life with Traci and Buck; much better than he had
before coming into rescue. Rest in peace, Buster. We'll miss you. |
