| BLUE

7/3/05: This poor guy was tied to the door of a veterinary clinic. He was literally starving to death before that. Blue is a prick-eared blue horsecoat. He is very, very skinny right now, but with a good diet and lots of love, I'm sure he will begin to flourish soon.
Blue is neutered and on heartworm preventive. He is house trained and crate trained. He's also good with other dogs as well as with people.
He's very scared and very tired right now because he doesn't know what has happened to him and because shelter life didn't agree with him, but after a few days, I'm sure he will settle down.
UPDATE 7/30/05 Blue has put on some weight and is more comfortable now than at first. He's very playful and after he warms up, he's very friendly. He's a little leary of men, but doesn't show any aggression. Obviously someone has been very unkind to him.
Blue has a beautiful blue coat. He doesn't mind getting a bath or having his ears cleaned. Blue will make a wonderful pet.
10/10/05: Blue is in his new home in Arkansas and he is one lucky guy. He has a great new family and a playmate named Grace. Way to go, Blue Bean!!
UPDATE 10/20/05: Everything's going real well. Sorry we haven't sent more pics, (they're in the camera, but not downloaded yet) but I've been trying to get the fence finished up in my spare time. It's almost completely done. The pups are really attached to Brenda, and they both stick to her like glue when they are outside. They act like they really like Rachel and I, but they are devoted to Brenda. Blue has put on more weight, and Grace has not had any fever since the first couple of days. Grace finally adopted one of the pillow beds as her day bed, and Blue still flops wherever he gets tired. Both of them are getting used to the normal noises that the house and it's residents make throughout the day and night, and no longer growl and bark at the ice machine when it's doing it's job. lol All in all, they appear to be very happy, as are we. We are glad that both of them are now part of our family. Thanks again.
Bob
9/30/06: Brenda called today to say that Blue passed away this morning. He had a very fast growing cancer that they found on ultrasound. When the doctor did surgery, she found that it had already spread throughout his body. This handsome boy never showed any signs of pain. His family and Grace miss him terribly.
