ZEN
(formerly Blackie)

Blackie is a 14-month old black male. He's only been in foster care for a short time, but in that short time he's been neutered, had entropian surgery and has been treated for heartworms. He is a very gentle, sweet boy that is housebroken and crate trained. He loves his stuffed animals (that's what is hanging out of his mouth)!He will make some family a very good pet.

UPDATE 10/4/01: Blackie went to his new home today in Louisville KY. He was a little hesitant to get in the car, but I'm sure he will do fine once he has a little adjustment time. The only caveat to this placement is that he be able to get along with their cats. I'm sure he'll pass the test.

John and Julia will give him the safe, loving home he deserves.

Blackie's new name is Zen. Much more sophisticated than Blackie, don't you think?
