We have had many rescues in our home, but I can tell you that Bella (which means beautiful in Latin) is by far the best natured and sweetest one ever. She is a big girl, 62 lbs., but is as gentle as she can be.  She's a black horsecoat, healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention with good eyes and skin. She's also crate trained and house trained. She loves children and gets along well with other dogs. What more could you ask for? She will make an excellent family pet.

UPDATE 1/6/03: Bella went to her new home in Vicksburg MS yesterday. She jumped right in the car and made herself at home.  I got an e-mail from Susan this morning and Bella is settling in quite well. She and Bolo, the family's other pei, growled at each other just a little, but things seem to be going well now. Thanks James, Susan, Jacob and Bolo for letting Bella share your home.
