AMANDA
This beautiful little girl came to us from a shelter in Georgia. Amanda was picked up as a stray and was in pretty sad shape. She had an embedded collar and several wounds on her back. We are currently treating her wounds and in spite of these, she's a sweetheart. She was very good in the tub when we were cleaning her up. She has a wonderful temperament. Amanda is heartworm negative; she will be spayed and have entropion surgery to fix her eyes on 4/12. Amanda is small, probably around 35-37 lbs. She needs to gain a few pounds, but not many.
Amanda is crate trained and house trained. We haven't heard her bark yet, but she does make a little whining noise when she needs to go outside. She's still a little leery of our dogs, but after she's been here a few more days, we're sure she's going to get along with them.
Amanda is 2-3 years old and is a fawn brushcoat.
5/18/07: Amanda is in her new home with Sherita in Atlanta. Amanda has settled in very nicely and Sherita is in love!
