AGGIE

Aggie is a tiny very short brushcoat. She is approximately 1.5 years old and has a very good temperament although she appears to be the alpha. She is spayed, on heartworm prevention, and up to date on her vaccinations. She gets along well with other non-alpha dogs and kids. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is a sweetheart.

UPDATE 9/23/02: Aggie went to her new home yesterday.  She is a very lucky little girl to have a safe, loving home with Rex and Mary. Even though we only had Aggie for a month, she will be in our hearts forever.

UPDATE 7/11/04: Aggie had surgery to repair a torn ACL. She is recovering nicely mainly because she gets excellent care from Rex and Mary. You're one lucky girl, little Aggie!

2/24/07: Sheryl:  I received your Christmas greeting and thank you very much for sending it!  Can you believe we have been in our house for 8 months?!  The time just flies anymore and I'm not sure I like that very much!  How are things with you?  The babies are doing fine.  Frankie has "grown up" and is such a goof!  He does the funniest things and has the funniest expressions.  His favorite thing when you are sitting in a chair is to put his front paws on the arm and then lean on one elbow like he's waiting to chat with you!  It's a riot!

Aggie is fine as well, but is developing glaucoma.  She is on Cosopt twice a day and it seems to be helping.  Our vet says she is pretty much blind, but with this Cosopt treatment I swear she can see.  She is happy and healthy besides that, though.  She seems to be getting along fine, even with diminished eyesight.  I wish it were otherwise for her; I try to think what it would be like to go blind and no one can explain what's happening, but we give her lots of kisses and hugs and I actually think that helps.  They both like the desert and are very happy about no, or limited, rain!

Hope all is well with you and look forward to staying in touch!  I miss my Rescue friends!

Mary
