BONNIE

Bonnie came to us from a shelter in Rome, Georgia. She was not healthy initially - she had obviously been neglected and she had heartworms. She also needed to be spayed. All that has been done and she is ready for a new home. She is house trained and crate trained. Bonnie is an older girl and has been through a lot. We think she would do best in a quiet home without other pets. But she does love to play, especially with her stuffed duck. She particularly doesn't like small dogs. She loves sitting outside in the sun when the weather is warm. Although Bonnie isn't very pretty on the outside, she's beautiful on the inside. She loves being with 'her person' lying on the couch taking it easy. Are you that special person for Bonnie?

UPDATE 4/2/04: Bonnie has been in her new home for a month now and she is doing great. Marlene and her son, Ronnie, love her unconditionally. We are very grateful to them for giving Bonnie such a wonderful home!

8/29/06:   Binky Butt is doing fine. She is getting a little slower, but still holds her own with the other dogs. People who saw her when I first got her can't believe she is the same dog. She plays with other dogs instead of attacking them.  She's my girl and still the boss. Riley is so laid back. He can be such a couch potato.  Both of them get along well.     Marlene

She's look good for an older girl!

This sweet girl passed away in June 2007 from bloat. Marlene and Riley miss her a lot, but Bonnie sure had a good life with them.
