Nyalah

Nyalah came to us in June 2000 from a cruelty case.  She was in terrible shape - with chronic ear infections, bad skin, and horrible eyes and scared to death of everything and everybody.  We got all her health issues fixed except for the ear infections which continued to be a problem until the end.   She was afraid of the grass, the dark and even her water bowl.  The first time she touched grass, I almost cried.  Even to the end, she crept very slowly when she would first feel the grass under her feet.

4/1/02 Nyalah was diagnosed with renal failure about five months ago and she lost the battle.  Nyalah came to us abused and mistreated and bred continuously.  Over the last year and a half, she was loved very much and finally learned to trust us.

We will never forget you, little Nyalah, but now you are pain free and with Emerson, who left us less than two months before you and Chinny I, both of whom died of the same horrible disease.
