Ginger is a light fawn brushcoat. We bought her from a backyard breeder long before we knew about Shar Pei rescue. Thank goodness she turned out to be relatively healthy and very good natured. Ginger was 9 years old on 9/28/04 . She's clearly the boss around our house. A couple years ago, Ginger was very overweight (as you can tell from the picture of her on the couch), but we put her on a diet and she lost almost ½ her body weight in 12 months. Unfortunately, she's put some of the weight back on, so we're back on a diet again. Ginger loves to eat!
